Night aerial photograph of a woodland festival arena, the crowd packed between lit buildings with the trees washed red and blue

Strings Festival  ·  The Woodland Venue, Robin Hill

Aerial coverage for events & property launches.

Corporate events, festivals, property launches and community shows — graded aerial stills and video, flown legally and safely closer to the action than standard permissions allow.

Flown and graded in-house — the full arena after dark

Why aerial coverage

Built for crowds, not just landscapes.

Event footage brings constraints a landscape survey never has to think about — people, schedules and airspace.

Legally closer to the crowd

Two qualifications cover this between them: an A2 Certificate of Competency for reduced separation from uninvolved people in the Open Category, and a CAA PDRA01 operational authorisation — held on a General VLOS Certificate — for Specific Category work. Between them we can work closer to uninvolved people and property than standard rules allow, choosing whichever route fits the site. Flights are planned to hold safe separation throughout, never directly over an assembly.

An angle no ground camera has

Scale, layout and atmosphere read differently from above — crowd size, site layout and the wider setting all in one frame. Shot on a DJI Mavic 4 Pro, with a sub-250g Mini 4 Pro for tighter sites.

Built around your schedule

Flight windows planned around the event programme, not the other way round — in and out without disrupting what's happening on the ground.

Who it's for

Four kinds of brief.

Different audiences, different deliverables — same planning and permissions behind all of them.

  • CORPORATE
Conferences, launches & company daysI planned and delivered corporate events before I flew them, so I know what the footage is actually for — marketing, internal comms, showing a sponsor the turnout. The flight gets planned around the programme, not through the middle of it.
  • LIVE MUSIC
Festivals & outdoor venuesStage, crowd scale and the site in context, including after dark — see the Strings Festival coverage below.
  • PROPERTY
Launches & development marketingThe building, its setting and its access in a single frame, for brochures, listings and investor material.
  • COMMUNITY
Shows, regattas & village eventsSmaller-scale coverage with the same flight planning and airspace checks behind it.

What it costs

Three levels of coverage.

Pick what the event needs to come away with — or tell us the programme and we'll say which one it calls for.

One Moment

From£295

  • Around ten graded stills of a single subject or moment, ready to publish
  • Enough for a launch, a press release or one strong image that earns its place
  • Flight planning and airspace clearance included, not billed on top
  • Scoped to the shot rather than to a clock

ONE SUBJECT · READY TO PUBLISH

An Occasion

From£495

  • The moments that matter across your programme, as a full graded stills set
  • A short edited film, cut for social or the web
  • Planned around your running order, so the drone is up when it counts and down when it doesn't
  • Usually about half a day on site — scoped to the programme, not the hours

WHERE MOST CORPORATE WORK LANDS

The Whole Story

From£895

  • The complete event recorded, from setup through to the headline act
  • Full stills set across the day, including after dark
  • An edited highlights film to run afterwards
  • As many flight windows as the programme needs, across the whole day

FESTIVALS · CONFERENCES · MULTI-STAGE
